Brief History: Created as a countermeasure to Formless Darkness infections by separating the victim's genetic code from that of the FD. Preliminary testing showed that she could safely separate a Sad Star Soldier from their Trap within the first five hours of infection, but could not do so on any SSS after that time period. A study preformed at the time of her completion determined that the FD problem was not genetic, and her project was shut down. She was the only FD Countermeasure Unit built by the team.

Eclipse was later reactivated when portions of the storage facility she had been stored in collapsed. She began wandering Astralis, observing groups of humans, and eventually her AI developed a unique persona. She continued wandering until an encounter with a Hell's Angel left her too damaged to continue. She broke down on the doorstep of a village mechanic's shop. She hasn't left the village since her repairs were completed, and under her protection, the village has had little fear of Traps and Formless Darkness.

Unique Ability (UA): Hacking: Gene Hack - Eclipse has special "bio-jack"s built into her fingers that allow her to hack into the genetic code of the target. This can allow her to separate a newly infected SSS from their Trap, kill a SSS that has been infected longer than five hours, or to take control of the target's body through manipulation of their nervous system. Tech Hack - Eclipse has basic hacking skills programmed into her systems. It's speculated that she has more hacking abilities. The programming for said abilities, however, has not been unlocked from her CPU.

Plasma Rifles - Eclipse's arms double as twin plasma rifles.

Disability (DA): Hack Pause - Eclipse's hacking abilities take time to complete, and she is left defenseless to all attacks. The amount of time to complete the hack depends on what Eclipse is trying to hack. She can only separate a SSS from their Trap if they are within the fist five hours of infection. As the victim approaches the five hour deadline, separation from the Trap becomes more complex, and takes longer to hack.

Overheat - Prolonged use of Eclipse's plasma rifles causes large amounts of heat to build up in her arms, which can damage the workings of her arms and chest. Power Drain - Eclipse's plasma rifles use a large amount of energy. If Eclipse's energy stores run out, she becomes immobile, and prone to attack. Her CPU, however, continues to run on auxiliary power.

Override (OA): Drain Pulse - Eclipse can direct all power in her energy stores and auxiliary power store to her plasma rifles for a single, large shot. The energy of the attack is such that it cuts through any substance. However, it uses all of Eclipse's energy, causing her CPU to shut down. Her CPU cannot be restarted.
